Charity People are a UK based recruitment organisation, devoted purely to the UK Charity sector. Set up over 30 years ago, they are passionate about helping non-profit organisations recruit more effectively, more efficiently and more inclusively. Having placed over 30,000 people into paid and voluntary roles, they are driven by making impact driven appointments that can genuinely change the world. Oxygen have worked with Charity People since 2020, supporting them with marketing and communications planning, a brand refresh, values workshops and two website design projects.

Aligning Values with Digital Presence

At the end of 2024, Charity People wanted to revamp their values and have this reflected across their website. It began with a values workshop, a strategic session designed to unearth what truly drives them. This was the foundation for a broader transformation, leading to a refreshed website that brings their purpose to life. The workshop helped clarify Charity People’s vision and values, reinforcing their commitment to purpose-driven recruitment. It set the stage for their next phase of growth, giving them a clear framework to guide their messaging, decision-making, and engagement with their community.

Improved digital experience

Following the values workshop, Charity People wished to evolve their website to reflect their updated values, their B Corp certification and strengthened positioning as a recruitment partner that understands and champions the charity sector.

We worked closely with their team to craft an enhanced digital experience, with messaging that builds on the language developed during the values workshop. The result was a site that reflected all that Charity People represent, designed to connect with charities, job seekers, and employers alike. It speaks with clarity making their brand story as engaging online as it is in person.

By refining the values, and messaging, we were able to build a website that is both meaningful and effective, supporting Charity People as they continue to make a difference in the sector.
