Building a sustainable website for a B Corp events agency

The Project

Legacy Events is a certified B Corp who design, deliver and support sustainable events through management, strategy and sourcing. Founded by Abena Fairweather, Legacy helps organisations plan and deliver events that reflect their values, without adding unnecessary complexity.  Legacy approached us to partner with them on the build of their new website, having already created the wireframes but needing an agency to bring the designs to life in an accessible, low-carbon way.

We focused on translating the modular layout into a responsive, low-carbon site, with an intuitive backend to allow the Legacy team to make content updates confidently and independently. We helped build in optimised meta descriptions throughout the site, applying further SEO best practices and Google Search Console integration to enhance search performance.

As part of the project, we provided Legacy with an accessibility audit with our partners MyVision Oxfordshire, ensuring the site wasn’t only compliant with accessibility standards but also usable for visually impaired users.
